Maine 2009

This past week I flew out to NY/Maine to visit with family and most importantly see Jon. 5 1/2 months is a long time to be away from the one you love. I'm just grateful that we didn't have to endure a longer deployment right off the bat.

Besides getting Jon sick with the stomach bug I had, the trip was great. We visited with a lot of Jon's friends and with family members. Highlights included Aspen's Baptism, Pirates Day in Damariscotta, a trip on the Coast Guard boat with Ben, and staying at the Erickson's beachfront house.

I wasn't too good about taking pictures, but I did take a couple. Enjoy!
